The POMA Foundation provides eligible Pennsylvania osteopathic first- and second-year medical students with free 12-month subscriptions to Sketchy, an evidence-based animated education platform designed for medical students.

This scholarship helps students access one of the country's most popular medical education resources at no cost.

Scholarships for OMS1 & OMS2 Students

The POMA Foundation Sketchy Scholarship provides eligible first- and second-year osteopathic medical students with a free 12-month Sketchy subscription, valued at $450.

Renewing for Your Second Year

OMS1 scholarship recipients will receive a survey via email from POMA at the end of the academic year. Following completion of the survey, students will receive another email with instructions on how to register for their second-year subscription.

Important Renewal Reminder

You must submit a registration form after completing the end-of-year survey. Submitting the survey does not automatically enroll you in Sketchy for your second year.

Scholarship Requirements

  1. Be enrolled as a first-year or second-year osteopathic medical student at a college of osteopathic medicine with a physical campus located in Pennsylvania.
  2. Respond to all required feedback surveys.
  3. Complete the online scholarship application before the deadline.
  4. Review and agree to the terms of the scholarship, including responding to periodic information requests and surveys provided by POMA.
