The POMA Foundation is making a difference in the lives of DOs every day.

The POMA Foundation’s vision is to promote the osteopathic tenets of mind, body, and spirit for patient care and for the physicians who treat them. Join us in supporting the osteopathic profession.

In 2025, the POMA Foundation:

• Provided white coats and stethoscopes to over 800 first-year osteopathic medical students in Pennsylvania;
• Provided over $38,000 in scholarships to 10 recipients through the Student and Resident Scholarship Program;
• Provided over 1,100 educational scholarships for osteopathic medical students through the Sketchy Scholarship Program;
• Awarded $25,500 to 51 residency programs through the Resident Wellness Grant Program to fund wellness activities and combat burnout; and
• Awarded over $21,000 to 7 recipients of the Bright Ideas Grant Program.
